Its becoming that time. New phones are coming out and contacts are expiring. What're you considering upgrading to?

My mother just recently got the SGS3, she doesn't know the first thing about phones so I've been helping her set it up, also doing some recon on it. Just from my brief time, it has made me a Samsung fan. The screen is so vivid and the phone is so snappy. It has more or less, pushed me towards upgrading to the new galaxy note 2. I do rather like the touchwiz interface. Not as much as sense, but enough to not drive me away.

With the new LG Optimus G also coming out soon, I've seen some specs and it has an impressive camera. 13MP if I recall correctly. It does look really good, but LGs track record isn't that great IMO.

Ohh the choices. How will we choose??

Agreed....the LTE would be a no-brainer if those putzez at HTC hadn't hardlocked the battery.

I would love to chat with the idiot(s) who thought up that brilliant spec and give them a big 'ol dorkslap on the back of the head.

My contract is up now, so I'm just biding my time.....I might try to keep my upgrade itch scratched by constantly flashing more and MORE AND MORE ROMS on my OG, so I can hold out for next years powerhouse release, but I'm getting really antsy already.

Swiper, it's up to you Brother to give me the ammunition to hold out for another 6 months or so. LOL

I agree with soap...I'm leaning toward the note 2. I'm just having a hard time justifying the price.
I wish I could use the original note cuz I'm sure I could find one on eBay... damn AT&T an their different signal.

Both SG3 and LTE are on Wirefly for 100 bucks, but I played with both extensively at the Sprint Store and it's SG3 all the way. However, with the Note 2 coming out this week, and knowing that Wirefly will have it in a few months for a good price, I may hold out til then
